La Terraza sul Mare is a five apartment property nestled high upon a hill overlooking the ‘costa viola’, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and the amazing Stromboli.
From here you can witness amazing sunsets, watch holiday makers frolic on the beach. It is a secure, private property with entrance via the wrought iron gates on Via Taureana (also known as Via Del Mare). The property features three two bedroom apartments and two one bedroom apartments, all fully self contained and furnished. Bed linen and towels provided for guests.
Communal washing machines are provided for guests and are located in the garage. The property comes with a steep parcel of land and which, in time, will be developed and cleared for easier access to the beach and possible caravan and campervan parking.
La Terrazza is a short drive to the beach and to Palmi town, which is a bustling town commanding amazing sea views and steeped in history. There is a bus service right outside the gate which takes you to both destinations. The drive to the beach is 5 minutes. You can walk down to the beach but be aware of the traffic. After all, we are in Italy!
The beach is scattered with many Lidi – you can hire an umbrella and a sun bed all day. There are also many ‘free’ areas where you can take your own umbrella and set up for as long as you like.
Although the apartments are fully furnished and equipped with kitchens, they are basic at this stage, having been in the same family for over 50 years. We plan to renovate and refurbish all apartments early 2018, ready for summer 2018.
