La Terraza sul Mare - four apartments nestled high upon a hill overlooking the ‘costa viola’, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and the amazing Stromboli.

From here you can witness amazing sunsets, watch holiday makers frolic on the beach. Our apartments are all fully self-contained and the perfect location for a wonderful summer vacation.
It is a secure, private property with entrance via the wrought iron gates on Via Taureana (also known as Via Del Mare).

OUR ROOMS
The property features two two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom apartments, all fully self contained and furnished.
​
All apartments have a private entrance. The two-bedroom apartments have balconies, the one-bedroom has a beautiful view out of the full-length windows.
​
Our terrace apartment has a brand new kitchen. The two-bedroom apartment and the one-bedroom apartment have both recently been renovated and have brand new amenities.
​
Bed linen and towels provided for guests. Washing machines are provided for guests and are located in each apartment.

OUR SERVICES
Self-Contained Living
Each apartment is self-contained, with customers free to use the kitchen and other amenities provided. We want our guests to feel at home as much as possible.
TV & Entertainment
​
Each of our apartments have a television and iPod doc. We provide WIFI, however, sometimes it is limited due to the property's position and the interference of signal because of the mountains that surround the property. With the town of Palmi and the beach only minutes away, there are numerous entertainment options.
Garden
La Terrazza sits on a steep parcel of land which will be developed in the near future to ensure easy access to the beach. It also has a small garden which guests are free to use.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning is completed prior to and following your stay. The apartments are all equipped with cleaning materials for your own use.
COVID sanitising is compulsory and all apartments are sanitised prior to arrival of guests.
Beach
The Tonnara di Palmi is a 15 minute walk downhill from our property. In each of our apartments we provide towels and a beach umbrella which our guests are free to use for the duration of their stay.

THINGS TO DO
Beach & Beach Activities

The property is only 1.5km from the beautiful Tonnara beachfront, where many 'Lidi' offer beach umbrellas, and the water is always crystal clear.The beach boasts a number of fun activities during the summer months. The 'Lidi' offer rentals of paddle boats and canoes/kayaks, with some even offering rentals of boats and yachts.
Travel​ & Sightseeing

Reggio Calabria is a 45 minute drive from La Terrazza. Lamezia Terme Airport is a 1 hour drive from the the property.
Tropea and Capo Vaticano are only 1 hour away, and Pizzo Calabro is a 45 minute drive from the property. Bagnara, Scilla and Chianalea are all within 30 minutes by car. Messina and the rest of Sicily is accessible by ferry from the port at Villa San Giovanni (40 minutes away).
Bars, Restaurants, & Clubs

During summer, the town of Palmi and beach come alive with places to eat, bars, and clubs along the foreshore. Enjoy a drink at one of the many bars on the beach. There are many restaurants serving delicious Calabrian food located in the town of Palmi and Gioia Tauro.
Nearby Towns​
​
The property is located in a small fraction of Palmi called Taureana. Palmi centrale is only 10 minutes away from our property. The town is steeped in history, boasts spectacular views and sunsets. Here you can find buses to Reggio Calabria, a train station, restaurants, and many other things to do. Gioia Tauro is the biggest town nearby and is a 10 minute drive. Train stations are located in both Palmi and Gioia Tauro.
Reggio Calabria

Reggio Calabria - the capital of Calabria - is only a 40 minute drive from our apartments. The city is a beautiful place to visit, with great shopping, great restaurants, and many historical sites including the Riace Bronzes which were discovered deep in the Calabrian waters and are on show at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Reggio Calabria.
Relax​
​
Our apartments are so close to the beach - only a 15 minute walk and an even shorter drive. The best thing you can do here is just relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Enjoy a walk along the foreshore, or venture up to the Parco Archeologico dei Taureani, to see the Torre di Saracena. There is no shortage of beauty on the Costa Viola.
